Erm, I mean... I was assuming that with all the work you guys have done, you've come up with decent methods for taking a preview image (say around 400 x 400 square) to a larger poster quality image (3000x3000 or something else around that huge range). I've been goofing off for a while now, but I still have had issues with it all and wondered if there was a method some people found more versatile/effective than others. I'm just asking for ideas and sharing mine ;-)

Do you mean that you start out with, say, 800x600 but you want to make that exact view larger to something like 1024x768?

So... big question here I got from looking at the DeviantArt pics (Which yes, they are all awesome :-D)

How do most people get a bigger image? I know two ways: zoom in, take several renders of different portions of the attractor, and the gimp or photoshop the piece in one larger image. The other way is just to save a template, guesstimate how to reorient at a larger size, make a new project with the larger size, load the template, and rotate until you can bear the new view.

Are there other ways you do it, or a preference? I'm personally enjoying the the template form... but perhaps someone has found a way to edit the save files so that the attractor can load in a different view, right?

I scare you? Sorry... I seem to have that effect on certain people... especially women... but that's more fun than a problem. Actually yeah, I take that back... I'm not sorry

You officially scare me. lol

Hi Alan, hello all,

I take it from your email that you develop Choscope.

Well I develop Chaoscope, not Choscope, so maybe we're not talking about the same program. ;-)

"Is there any news on the binaries for beta testing?"
I'd love to help you beta-test stuff.

I'll relaunch a recruitment campaign for beta-testing because it's been a while since the last one. All those who I've contacted already won't need to re-apply.

Maby you're site has gone quiet as "ultra fractal 4" has just been realised.
"Ultra Fractal 4" cant produce good "strange attractors", or at least not easily so they do not compete with you directly but may still be part of the reason for a recent decrease in visitors.

The mailing list has been quiet for quite a long time, there are burst of activity once in a while but until 0.3 is released don't expect a lot of traffic.
