Y'know Nick?

It's ohso obvious that you're having a blast being so creative -- despite your connectivity issues.
And the back handed apology - that a >>game<< (HL2) could posssibly fill the void in the downtime
is equally understandable.

I remember burning critical "together time" playing "DOOM" with my sons on an Xmas day sometime
just after '92. I don't remember the exact year. I remember the fun and the bright eyes and the laughter and the
sense of genuine good cheer. And I remember watching all the schedules slip (oh well)

But my fondness "gaming memory" came a few years later. I had finally acquired the house of my dreams (gone now) The curtains were open -- the light was exactly
as it should be. The windows were wide open --the breeze was Spring and full of flowers (I DID NOT ACHE ANYWHERE (at all, at all!!!)) and Geoff (my No.2 son) & I were so very way too fully and happily engaged in a common entertainment -- playing Road Rash on our PlayStation. One of those games where we took turns - playing or cheering the other guy ON.

You cannot know how choice and good those days were for me... Equally, you can have no idea, now, how choice and good ... these days are for you... now... Now.
But you will, one day... when you can safely look back.... back to those days when Chaoscope was Zero-point-something. when you were young and the world was opened and you did not ache.

Jesus Nick! You're a Frenchman in Great Britain!! for chrissake! go out and enjoy yourself a little. In other words -- Happy holidays, man!. Now. Get out there and party.
We'll use whatever version of chaoscope you release -- whenever you get around to releasing it. Go. Party. Release is a good word, especially if it applies to the struggle between work and your ability to enjoy life.

Hello all,

I haven't got my DSL connection back yet, and I was told by BT
today that it won't be reactivated before the beginning of next
year thanks to the Christmas holidays and the 7 working days it
takes them to go through all the paper work involved.

The web site may not be updated in time for the december contest,
and my backlog of Chaoscope users emails is now reaching its
critical mass. Sorry for the delay to all those who sent me an
email, especially Jim Hauser!

The good thing about all this is and having finished Half Life 2
is I have nothing to distract me from coding. I've ironed out a
couple of bugs left in the new preview but I'm sure there's a few
there for you to find.

I've also added a new equation I mentioned a while ago, Chaotic
Flow. It's similar to the two Lorenz's we've got with more
parameters. It's not complete yet because I've got to find a way
to allow the user to specify that X, Y or Z (the current coordinates
of the orbit) may be used to replace constants in the equation.
More on this later.
