I think you should be able to pick "N Iterations" and then wait until it is done or click "Stop" to stop it early. or "Calculate indefinitely" and "Stop" when you have it the way you want it. Then optionally "Continue Calculating" or "Continue Calculating up to N Iterations" etc...
