Microsoft’s latest cloud offerings, enables hospitals and medical research
facilities to break past traditional hardware limitations. It provides
on-demand, scalable, parallel computing in the cloud. This enables
traditional workloads that used to take hours or days to be condensed into
minutes and seconds and completely turned off when they are not used;
something that is not possible with an on-premises cluster.
Some viable applications include:

• Genomic Research/Genome Sequencing
• Cardiac/Hemodynamic Simulation
• Physiological Neural Network Analysis
