In case we have new members on the list, some quick notes on how to find us:
* Upon arriving at DHHS, present your photo ID to the security counter
and say you're here for the Chai-T meeting. They will then give you a temporary
pass.
* Take the elevator to Level 18, enter the first glass door and turn
right, where you will see a second glass door. OK, this is as far as your pass
will take you.
* Cross your finger that the second door is open or there is someone
inside to open it for you. If not, give me a call on 0469558207 and I'll come
out to let you in.

The October Chai-T meeting will feature the following two presentations:
Rowan Shield from Northern Health will be giving us an overview of their entire
reporting solution. Things he'll be covering include:
* Server layout
* In-house developed reporting portal
* Automated excel reporting
* Dundas dashboards
* Other in-house developed applications for data entry and extraction
As we often have presentation on specific topics or aspects of an
organization's BI implementation, it's very rare to have an overall picture of
its entire BI architecture. It's definitely a good opportunities for us to
learn from each other experience.
Adam Gruer from Royal Children's Hospital will be presenting on the following
two topics:
* Exploring Data using the Sanddance visual in PowerBI.
* Using R Studio to generate reports.
Since the Sanddance visual came out early this year, its mind-blowing visual
effects and the immense capability to allow quick slicing/dicing/drilling of
dataset has attracted a lot of attention.

Some Chai-T members would remember that Adam has given us a presentation on his
initial experience with R a little over a year ago. This time, he's going to
show us some productionized end-to-end solution their team has built with R to
automate report generation.
