I would try troubleshooting the memory first. How many DIMMs are in the
machine? In this situation I always suggest pulling everything out except
for what you need to start the computer, see if it starts and then add back
one piece of hardware at a time until it doesn't start anymore. When it
doesn't start you've found the culprit.
