Dear Honours student, the Centre for Geoinformation Science has an internship post available. The internship is part of the DST-NRF Internship Programme, managed by the National Research Foundation (NRF), in which unemployed Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) graduates and postgraduates are offered an opportunity to acquire practical work experience through mentoring and exposure to a research environment. Minimum requirements: BSc degree, preferably in Geoinformatics, but other BSc degrees will also be considered. Job description The intern will full-time and assist with research and some administrative tasks in the Centre for Geoinformation Science. Duration The internship programme is offered for a period of 12 months. Successful applicants will be required to sign an internship contract for the duration of the internship period. The salaries of interns will be managed by the NRF.
