Hi folks, we're putting the final touches on our updated safety plan and
getting things into place for a return to live programming. On February 1st,
we'll be starting limited live broadcasting during the day, 8 AM to 4 PM, with
a small amount of volunteers who have stepped forward. Others will continue to
program from home for some later night spots. The schedule has been totally
revamped and updated and is still a bit fluid, but you can see what we've got
set up so far here:
Please make sure, if you are programming live or from home, you know where your
show is for the time being. I want to stress that these changes are temporary
and only until the pandemic ends. Everyone will be able to get their old
timeslot back once things return to more of a normal state.
If you want to get back on the air live and are able to work during the day on
a weekday, there are still timeslots open. Brant will be forwarding a document
to you very soon about that. The main thing is that there needs to be social
distance between hosts, so no live shows will be airing back to back. There
will always be a pre-recorded show between live hosts and we will need stop
broadcasting live radio by 4 PM each day.
I'm working on some adjustments to how charting and playlist content will work,
and should have more information about that early next week. In the meantime,
you will still be getting your playlist adds each week (we'll be going back to
weekly charts and adds), so you can start listening to the material over the
weekend like you normally would.
If you have any questions, contact Brant of me by email or call the station.
We'll be back to 8 AM to 4 PM weekday business office hours starting on Monday,
