*A good live-action simmer is able to engage others in activities, and also
be able to be engaged. They have a particular style that is at once
approachable and willing to follow. Also, they don't play with the same one
or two other people in the sim; they make the effort to interact with
everyone on the ship at some point. The true challenge of the live simmer is
to keep track of what is going on in the heat of the moment and then tailor
their playing to fit what's going on.*

*A good e-mail simmer shows the dedication to put out the required one log
each week, and additional ones if there is something in particular that they
are developing for the good of the ship. They don't publish multiple logs in
a week that revolve around them and their significant other that has little
or nothing to do with the plot that everyone else is endeavoring to develop.
E-mail simmers have the additional challenge of writing understandable,
coherent logs with a minimum of typographical and grammatical errors. "Spell
Check" should be their favorite writing tool.*

*Great poll question!*
