The MARCON science fiction convention, Memorial Day weekend in Columbus
Ohio, will feature as its theme for 2006 "Roddenberry's Universe" and as you
can
imagine, there will be quite a lot of Star Trek programming and guests.
As a special offer, any CPA members who would like to spend some time
volunteering to work on the convention can attend for the staff price of only
$10.00 each. Convention hospitality ("con suite") will be run by your very
own
Captain Drake Francis and Commander Sarah Mollin, so we'd love to have the
Celestial Crew staffing it with us!
If we get a good bunch of us from the sims to volunteer, we may be able to
get special perks such as a party with one or more of the guests, group
t-shirts, and so on.

As the convention draws closer I will also be arranging room sharing for the
volunteers (males and females separately, but I will also match up those

rooms for singles under my arrangements).
