How about Wednesday Nov 13th at 6:30 for our wrap up meeting?

I believe our success to date is due to the result of having a committee that
is working together for the benefit of our community- both present and future.
Everyone played a crucial role in facilitating the success of our event,
whether it was obvious or not. I am grateful to be included in such an amazing
and inspiring group of individuals.

Thanks Bob and I couldn’t agree more with your comments. That’s the kind of
dialogue we need at our November meeting so we can think about it over the
holidays.

Bob R.,

I think that's a good plan. I'd like to see us chart a way forward for
reviewing and approving the plan(s). Coming from a government acquisition point
of view, I'm a little uncomfortable with just reviewing Hubbell's plan as the
one we're going to use (I realize I'm overstating the case a bit). I similarly
wouldn't want a hodge-podge of different ideas thrown together by a committee;
it should be a unified, complete, professional design with the necessary
engineering. To that end, I wonder if it would be worthwhile to, at a minimum,
solicit other designs from design and architecture firms; acknowledging in the
solicitation that there is not much money. One potential outcome is that we
don't get ANY other submissions; and that in itself would be valuable
information, and perhaps help deflect criticism down the road. We all know
someone won't be happy with what we do, whatever it is. We have some time now,
and I think there is value in taking a deliberate approach to this decision.
We're going to live with it for many decades.

Thanks again for all you've done to honcho (i.e., facilitate) this committee's
endeavors. Thanks for all your hands-on work seeing the event through; to
include our thanks to all those who made such critical contributions Saturday,
and ten years ago.

Thank you,

Bob Y.

Thank you Kathy and Billy.

Now that the CFM Committee has had a few hours to relax and reflect I would
like to make a suggestion for our near future plans for the CFMC. I suggest we
meet one more time in November to wrap up the program thoughts and paperwork
(if any exists) and make additional plans to start meeting again after the
holidays, in January 2014. We can begin the monument discussions again and get
Illisa and Mr. Hubbell’s plan on the table.

I’d appreciate everyone’s opinion on this question.

Thank you everyone,

Bob R.

Bob, thank you for keeping us all on track and being our leader even when you
didn't want to be called leader. Thank you to everyone on the committee, it
was a great team effort. I was so proud of our community and proud of how we
paid tribute . I echo all your praise, Bob, to our fine Fire dept and it's
personnel. Big thanks to Chief Parr and Captain Chuck!

GREAT JOB EVERYONE!

very special event for the Lakeside residents and victims of the 2003 Cedar

program visiting with the attendees.

This THANK YOU is offered with strong appreciation to all personnel in the

to develope the Cedar Fire Monument on the site you so graciously provided
our community.

Sincerely,
