I believe the FD is working on some back up plans as we speak.

National Anthem & Pledge - did they talk to you about that?

CFM Committee members and Chuck Palmore,

I wasn’t able to talk with Chuck P. after our meeting so I’m passing on my
thoughts to him via this email, with copies to the CFM Committee.

I (we) are very appreciative of Chuck for stepping up to be “Master of
Ceremony” for the Dedication. I want him to be comfortable in his position and
understand he’s running the show from the Opening Ceremony to the end of the
program of speakers, presenter’s / ribbon cutting / helicopter water drops.
Once the audience is excused to go visiting, look at displays and eat, his
function should be over with. Any further PA instructions can come from the CFM
Committee members as needed.

Cristina Smith volunteered to be “time keeper” for Chuck to help with meeting
the time constraints of the program, especially considering the fly over
schedule. I believe it will be up to all of us on the Committee to direct VIP
speakers / presenters, or their representatives, to Chuck well before the start
of the program so he can brief them and make sure they know their seating and
sequence in the program etc. We should expect some speaker(s) may be late
arrivals and re-arranging their sequence in the program will have to take place
due to the Fly over schedule. The front row of audience chairs should be
flagged for the speakers / presenters well before the program starts.

I’ll brief the VFW Color Guard when they arrive and see who’s going to provide
the National Anthem music, and how. If anyone knows that answer please let me
know.

Any other suggestions or comments are welcome.

Thank you,

Bob Robeson, CFM Chair Person

Here's the final agenda - let me know if I missed anything.

Andy - please forward to Chuck, I think you gave me his email, but I am not
finding it.

Thanks,

Kathy
