Okay with me; the final decision on the name of the Monument is “Cadar Fire
Historic Monument”, by a majority vote from the steering committee.

Thanks,

Bob R.

Sorry I have missed too many meetings. I don’t know if I’m coming or going
these days Smile.

My vote is for The Cedar Fire Historic Monument.vote of vote from the

I also think it would be great for some older folks to help. Young and old
working together is a beautiful thing.

On the drive home, Cristina and I talked and we think the official name on this
project should be The Cedar Fire Historic Monument (not Historical). Can we
all vote on this via email before more publicity goes out?

Thanks Sandra and we re-enforced that concept again at our meeting this
evening. All attendees were in favor of that thought.

Nothing against the "old folks," but the main reason to create a memorial of
any kind is to leave a message for future generations about events they weren't
even around for. Including the kids couldn't be more important. Sandra

Let’s make sure you get your ideas into the meeting with details so we can

Hi Bob,

I don't get to talk much because I'm so busy writing but as long as I've got
your ear now I will say that I hope us old folks get to help make the mosiac
wall or walk way too ... the kids get to do all the fun stuff and they weren't
even around during the Cedar Fire.

Artist, Jackie Hanson guided the middle school students on making the clay
fish for the River Park walk way and various people helped glue the pieces down
and grout.

James Hubbel let us old folks join him on working on the mosiac at the Crest
Ridge Open Space Preserve, it was very exciting to work with a famous artist
like him and he was very patient. Betty
