Hello everyone - I write to share the good news that we (Principal
Investigator: Sarah Frick
Co-Principal Investigators: Martin Schmoll, James S Wiseman, and Donna Molinek)
received official notice that our NSF grant has been renewed so we will be able
to contribute to lodging and travel expenses. The grant no longer reimburses
meals, but Davidson's office of Academic Affairs has graciously committed funds
to help feed us.
I am trying to make plans for those meals and the schedule, so please visit the
website and register! If you've emailed me about attending and /or speaking,
that's great but you still need to register. If you are bringing
undergraduates, please forward this to them so they can register as well. THANK

Subject: Carolina Dynamics 2020!
Greetings! I am writing to invite your participation in the Spring 2020
Carolina Dynamics Symposium. This year it will take place at
April 3-5, 2020
We are hopeful for continued NSF funding (pending approval) to offset costs.
Information about hotels and local logistics will be sent and posted to our
website, http://www.bagdala2.net/cdynsys/ soon. Davidson is about 25 miles
from Charlotte International Airport.
In the meantime….please let me know if you would like to give a talk so I can
start working on the schedule. The more speakers the better as far as I’m
concerned! Also, please forward this announcement to anyone you think would be
interested - including undergraduate and graduate students. Remember this is an
opportunity to discuss and get input about your current and ongoing work.
Questions and comments from attendees has always been welcome and appreciated.
Friday afternoon 4:30 – general math audience dynamics lecture
Saturday morning – talks geared toward our usual audience
Saturday afternoon – talks that undergraduates can appreciate and tentatively
talks by undergraduates
Saturday evening – all attendee dinner
Sunday morning – talks geared toward our usual audience
Let me know of any questions or comment you may have.
We are looking forward to see many of you in Davidson!
