Thank you all so much for the amazing send-off this morning! I'll admit I had
to hold back the tears. I've been with you all for over 20 years and it's very
difficult to leave. But I know it's the right time.
Many thanks to Gene, Nancy, Bonnie, and Carolyn for such beautiful expressions
of love. Your sentiments truly touched me.
The gift certificate to La Sumida is truly the best present I could have
received! I've already started preparing my flower beds for spring and now I
can buy all the flowers I want! Please feel free to stop by my house in April
and May and see what your gift has done! I also thank you for the generous
check, which I will spend all on myself, I promise!
I love your all so dearly, and I plan to come back to visit often. Please do
your best to help our new pianist, Riley feel comfortable, as you did for me
all those years ago.
