1. I too like the idea of nominally 5-10 minute "blurb" presentations.... Much more flexible, and less pressure for the casual participant. 2. I don't drink/like coffee, but I also like the idea of "face time"...I might just have to see what's on the menu besides coffe I guess! 3. What are peoples interests? I suggest we put together a biography page on CCOSS...so that we can list what we are each interested in, and what we are looking for. What do you think Chris? Maybe us less timid members could introduce ourselves and something about our interests at the meeting. My interests are in the areas of portable software and low-level embedded topics including operating systems, efficient software design, .safety-critical applications. Primarily I'm interested in portable software though and spend a lot of time on C++, some on Python, less on bash, shell tools, Xemacs, "cygwin" etc.. What do _you_ think? _______________________________________________ CCOSS mailing list ccoss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx CCOSS mailing list page: //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=3594 CCOSS Web page: http://www.ccoss.org
