University of Cincinnati Physics Department

Dr. Hanson's work includes research into the formation of massive young star
clusters. These young stars are too heavily shrouded in gas and dust to be
observed at optical wavelengths. Dr. Hanson developed a spectroscopic method to
reveal their mass and other physical properties.
