The Search for Other Earths Saturday March 9 8:00pm At the CAS Headquarters Every 2nd Saturday the Cincinnati Astronomical Society features area astronomers who bring you the Universe. CAS invites its members, families, students, teachers and scouts - anyone with a sense of wonder about our solar system, galaxy or the Universe. The hunt for other worlds around other stars has become one of the hottest research and discovery projects in modern astronomy. Leading the search is NASA’s Kepler mission. CAS President Terry Endres presents the search for other earths.. Afterwards your fellow Society members will be on hand to answer all your spacey questions, you can tour the CAS observatories and learn how telescopes work, and you’ll view the night sky through CAS’s four large telescopes. (Presentation held clear or cloudy.) Have a telescope?
