My understanding is all you can do is to dig it up & pull it out while
dressing in a head to toe bunny suit & gloves/booties/mask. And, being careful
not to touch your face or anything that could have it spread to another person
or yourself.
OR poison it ( which you aren’t a fan about).
OR hire someone to do it.
Check with our neighbors that have gardeners for potential recommendations.

We’ve had to deal with poison oak in the Russian River. It’s not pleasant as
it started crowding into our ivy & our blackberry tree.
