Police clearly don't have control (of much in the Bay) and this neighborhood also clearly identified as dumping ground/shopping ground for either actively stealing or for dropping off stolen vehicles. Plural of anecdotes isn't evidence of course I get that but more than twice is no longer coincidence.
Still recommend an active neighborhood watch and cameras etc!
