I have a follow up on that abandoned car. It was stolen locally a week or so 
ago. The license plates had been swapped out. I spoke to the woman from the 
insurance company doing the investigation and she was very nice and very 
grateful for any and all additional details I could give her. I told her I 
would reach out to the other neighbors who saw more than I saw as the whole 
event was unfolding. She would really appreciate a call from anyone who saw 
anything at all.

At about 5:00 pm I talked to a few neighbors and was told that they had 
already called police about the abandoned car in front of my house. It’s 
still there so I called the police again at about 9pm. The officer sounded 
like it was a new report. So I had to give him details like it it was first 
report!  Supposedly, someone will come and check it out sometime tonight. 
I’ve told them they can come down to my house to ask questions. We’ll see if 
they show up.
