I have transferred all of us over to the new freelists.org site. There is
nothing that you need to log into to use this new list service.
When you want to send a message to the group, you just put the following in
the To: box of your regular email account: camping-women@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
(Note that it is a dash and not an underscore this time).
This will send the message to everyone, with the exception of the few who are
still on the snail mail list. We have 9 people on that list who will
continue to get the newsletter mailed to them, but I don’t send out the
regular messages to that group as the postage would get too expensive.
Going forward when we have a new member, however, they will be sent an
initial message and will have to subscribe to the service. I was able to
import all of our existing members and save you all the hassle of having to
create a login and subscribing to the list in order to use it. 😊
FYI – to Irene & Linda – I was able to include our newest members in the
import so all current members listed on the January Membership Directory are
included in this group.
Hopefully, no one will have any issues sending out messages to the group, but
if you do, please let me know.
