Dear Diane,
Thank you for getting back to me. I had to leave the house as I couldn't
concentrate on my work with all the noise.
Thank you also for the explanation as to what the crew was doing. Either way,
the drilling or pounding, is extremely disruptive and stressful.

Dear Elizabeth,
I have tried to phone you back but couldn't get a reply - I have left you a
message.
After speaking to site, they said the noise should have finished now. We were
putting in sheet piles for the drainage tanks. These are usually put in with
a vibrating hammer, but because this is so disruptive to residents we have
instead dug down to soften the ground and pushed the piles in instead of
using the vibrating hammer.
It does take longer to do but it does mean there isn't excessive vibrations.
Some of the piles have had to be knocked down to create a safe environment
and this is what the pounding noise was.
I hope this information is helpful.
Kind regards
Diane

Dear Alex,
Good afternoon. I have phoned and written to Diane Rowe and called her
mobile number, however as she is on site she hasn't responded.
The noise is impossible and a number of us are working from home. Can this
be looked into as a matter of urgency?
Best wishes,
Elizabeth

Dear Diane,
We are experiencing a constant pounding noise of the diggers banging in
some concrete posts. We are still working from home and this noise is
making it impossible.
Also, Spencer Group were working on Remembrance Sunday. You would think on
that one day they would have some respect and not work. This has caused
some distress to my neighbours.
