I have read through most of the correspondence and looked at the plans and it
is extremely disappointing that 1. GTR/Network Rail make only one really
explicit mention of a carriage wash facility and that is on a map of the site,
and 2. The Cambridge planners ignored that, or felt it was fine under ‘prior
approval’. They were concerned more with a proposed canopy over the stairway.
Nor did they feel that public consultation was necessary on this application.
Ridiculous.
