But if something that will contain machines operating 24 h/day is not an
industrial facility, I wonder what is - so yes I think there's a possible
debate there.
As soon as I manage to sign in to Next Door (having trouble just now) I'll
confirm I can still attend on the 17th.
On Tuesday, I recall someone mentioned that he wanted to quickly raise a demand
for more information from Spencer (I think) under Freedom of information on
specific topics including, if I recall, seeing evidence for the serious
research of alternative locations and also evidence supporting the repeated
statement that the noise on the premises won't exceed 40 dB.
Is that right? I thought it was, like everything suggested, a great idea.
Sorry we've not helped more so far. We'll be quite pushed until the w/c/ 17th
but I will do my best to make more time from then. In the meantime at least - I
think I know a few people who fought unfair projects in their villages and I'll
approach them to know more...

Apparently the trainwash requires no planning review or approval at all under
current legislation. Not even a review under Permitted Development rights as
with the bridgeworks.
That’s why I was unable to find any records.
Please do no attack the planners, they interpret and apply existing
legislation.
There is a small sliver of hope as there is debate over the definition of an
industrial facility. The solicitor is reading it as manufacturing and therefore
the trainwash would not fall under an industrial facility.
The lawyer is completing a report that he will share with Cllr Baigent and in
turn with residents.
It’s a real travesty isn’t it?
Can you come on the 17th of Feb for the next resident meeting? I’m at a
different public consultation on the 18th. Cllr Baigent is available on the
17th and has agreed to come.
