Thanks Peter
Unfortunately Main Hall is closed for now due to runways and taxiways being
flooded so have to carry on with my knitting for now 😊
My optimistic interpretation of the Tier4 rules is that we can fly (but what do
I know)
All the best
Brian

Subject: [cambsmc] Airfield Info / Update
Hi
Not able to stop sending info now that I can.! Looks like there will be the
chance weather wise to fly in the next few days.
I am quite happy for flying to take place if its allowed , not at all clear
depends how you interpret it.
During the frost and flood conditions the field is usable, despite the flooding
on the wheat crop.I have left the grass long so that it is less likely to
become muddy, but I would ask you to back track the runways where possible to
avoid the the ruts made by potato harvesting on the ends of the runways, Will
you also use the edges/outsides when taxying to avoid frost burn and rutting of
the centre. I know we all need to practice our landings but please keep
circuits as few as is sensible.
When - 3 + frost is forecast I shall drain the water but leave the kettle full
also the toilet cisterns. If possible I will leave the toilets water turned on
The club house which is susceptible to freezing is the most likely to be
drained. The heater is in the cupboard near the gas fire and I have traced the
electric fault so the electricity is working.
Hope we can get some flying, some people already have. Please don't hesitate to
call me if you want help or info.
Best Wishes
Pete.R
