If you are looking for a DOS GUI that looks like Windows9X, you might
want to go to http://www.icdc.com/~dnice/dosstart.html and try DOS Start.
It is a shareware program ($5, although I can't find it mentioned on the
webpage, it is mentioned in the readme file) that looks pretty neat. I
did try it awhile ago (I haven't touched my old 486 computer in quite
some time.) and had some problems running some programs, but that may
have been fixed by now. It also has a file manager and some other neat
little features.
