Hmm... Looks like I'm trying ME. <G>
But Bob is right. By default, DOS-mode is hidden when you boot normally. But
when you make a boot-disk, it allows the DOS options. The patch that the
website talks about alters a few files, mainly IO.SYS, and allows you to
boot to just DOS. And yes, Windows 3.1 would definitely work, although that
would mean patching IO.SYS twice.

I have a question for anyone that has ME. What happens if you make a
shortcut to COMMAND.COM? Or just go to start> run> command.com?
