OO is short for Object Oriented programming.  Some of the
newer languages are OO based and not really structured
programming.  Examples are Java and Visual Basic.  Basically,
all the information/data is encapsulated into an entity
called an object.  The model simulates real life through
the relationships between objects.  Just as you and I are
talking via email, objects relate to each other.  Each
object is for the most part independent of each other
