Hi All, I tried out version 1 and it seems that its Explorer was not a stand
alone Windows executable and that it probably is working just like the
current version where it requires Calmira.exe to be running. Clicking on
version 1's Explorer.exe doesn't do anything (at least on my 386 Contura.)
Also, its filesize seemed too small to contain all the code for a
functioning Explorer. I hope I'm wrong. Say, Glenn, you seemed so
confident that it would work, do you think you might have been thinking
about TaskMan.exe instead? Oh... now, I see from the replied subject that
maybe you were talking about TaskBar as a separate app. (which would defeat
my purpose of managing my documents as well as apps. Thanks anyway, I'm
glad I now have version 1 in my archive.

Hmm, I might have a copy of version 1 on a 486 I have...have to hunt and
see!
Also,
I just did a search on AOL, they have Calmira 2.0...I never tried that one,
only v1 and 2.2 prior to using Calmira II. The "source code" pakages do
have
to be compiled, you need Delphi. If you want, I can download Calmira 2 from
AOL and send it as a zip file attachment? Just let me know!

Hi Glenn, I wanted to download the necessary files for trying out your
suggestion about being able to run version 1's Explorer as a stand alone
application. Calmira.org's earliest version available is Li-Hsin's version
2.2, but it is a source release. What does that mean?; will it have to be
compiled? Per the site, a version 2.2 in German has a link, but I haven't
been able to download the file yet from any of the choice of ftp:
sub-links.
(Web page error.) I was hoping the German version was executable, just to
try it out.
Anyway, does version 1 still exist anywhere, can someone point me to the
