The kernel is fine! It supports almost all the hardware out there and is
more stable than any version of windows will EVER be. Just try red hat
6.2, like Brian and John said, and see how you like that. And if all
works out, you can try a newer release of mandrake or red hat.

That fixes almost 50% of my gripes with linux...
Now if only the kernel didn't suck harder than a black hole... =(
(Ie: if the developers were slightly smarter than a computer running a
genetic algorithm).
