I also am thinking about getting Kylix, not sure if you know but the
Delphi-Talk list at elists.org also has a Kylix list and all is fairly slow
right now but I am lurking around to see what others say <g>
There will be a free version of CLX released in MID 2001 and they post all
news, events and release dates etc there... Sounds to me like the free
version will not be as powerful but I am still going to check it out before
buying Kylix since they are charging so much for it <g> I have not seen it
yet but I am sure over time Kylix will be seen on ebay and you may find it
cheaper there, I know I bought D4 from there still shrink-wrapped for
relatively cheap. Depending on the popularity of the Idea of having calmira
ported to Linux maybe Calmira.org could have some sort of fund raiser to
help you get Kylix seeing as they charge like around $1000.00 I believe with
no upgrade breaks and Calmira is a non profit project. Just a thought
anyways <g>
