Actually, DeviceLogics now owns all rights to DR-DOS. They are planning on
releasing 8.0 sometime in april. Go to www.drdos.com for further details

DR DOS does belong to Lineo (http://www.lineo.com), an affiliated
company of Caldera. Lineo now owns all rights to the ex-DR, ex-
Novell Operating Systems, including CP/M, DR DOS/Open DOS and
Novell DOS.
The legal status is somewhat strange. They are Open Source, but
not under a GPL or similar license.
I'm not sure whether http://www.opendos.org tells more about it, but
give them a hit nevertheless ;-)

Bye, Gaby
