Hello all,

While we're at CPU temperatures: My PIII-500 runs at ca. 51°C (that's
what the BIOS says after a couple of hours); the board temperature is
usually around 33-34°C. When I still had the Intel in-a-box cooler, the
CPU temperature climbed to over 70°C... To our programming folks: Is it
possible to write a CPU cooling program like CPUIdle, Rain etc. for Win
3.1? (Something that HLTs the CPU when it's idle?) Or is that
impossible? Nobody has been able to tell me that, so far...

Dual-booting Win98 and DOS 6.22 (with WfW 3.11) on the same FAT16
partition is no problem - BTW here I've changed msdos.sys so that the
boot menu of Win98 always appears at startup; DOS 6.22 is the default
there. Strangely on some Win98 installs F8 doesn't work, but Ctrl does.
