Calmira II 3.11 beta has been released. Go to

CALMIRA II 3.11 beta 1
======================

This file will update Calmira II 3.1(a) to 3.11 beta 1.
Calmira II 3.1(a) needs to be installed before installing
this beta release.

This update includes the following bugfixes and enhancements:

Buxfixes in 3.11:

+ Double clicking an item in the Computer window and moving
  the cursor to the desktop will no longer accidentally
  create a shortcut on the desktop.
+ Improved Icon Dialog behaviour.
+ Large internet icon would not show.
+ Could not specify icon for programs.
+ Descript.ion file archive bit wasn't set.
+ Calmira no longer uses MMSystem unit.

New in 3.11

+ Improved drag support:
  - Ctrl/Shift/Alt resp. will perform copy/move/make shortcut.
  - Cursor always indicates drag action
  - Right button cancels dragging.
  - While dragging, tree and file panes will scroll by hovering
    over the scroll buttons.
  - Dragging objects over a task button activates the windows,
    so you can can drop anywhere in the program.  
+ Clicking an active windows' task button will minimize the
  window.
+ CTRL+TAB now changes tabs in dialogs.
  (had to remove CTRL+TAB for window switching.)
+ Redesigned Task Manager
+ Optimized Explorer resize/redraw code.
+ Improved browser configuration, now detects default browser.
+ Improved transparency for selected items on the start menu.
+ Improved Progman DDE support; icons added by setup programs
  are directly placed in the Start Menu properties dialog.
+ (internal) Calmira now uses one fixed global timer.
+ New 'Go to folder' dialog.


INSTALLATION:
=============

Simply replace CALMIRA.EXE. Make sure Calmira is not running.
