I'm still here and interested in CADCAM for Linux. I've learned a lot
in the years since this list was more active. It looks like there are a
lot of projects that have a lot of potential -FreeCAD comes to mind.
I've been using Linux as my primary platform and been able to do design
work via qcad, autocad under wine, progecad under wine, vectorcam under
wine, Apt360 (cam under linux), with a lot of success.
