Once again i'm falling behind. i'd worked with the 6.x
and 7.x versions but have not done much with 8.x.
one of my biggest complaints with the earlier
releases was the interface and grouping of the icons.
i was spending way too much time searching for
buttons. my solution was to edit the file for the
pulldown menus so that i could use them a little more
efficiently. 8.x does seem to fix these issues so i
have not tried changing the pulldowns on it. most of
the complaints that i have heard on the current
release are about the import/export only being 2D and
a little about the facetted solids. if you are
working in 2D then neither of these should be an
issue. if you are working in 3D you still seem to be
getting your money's worth.

just my $.0222225 worth.
