Very good post... I just installed ares here, it's pretty impressing...
Looks indeed more polished than bricscad (it's also a bit more expensive).
Note that the demo version serves perfectly as a dwg viewer...
Now I can't wait to see draftsight... Looks like the linux cad universe is
changing much!
Anybody already using ares or bricscad for "real life" production work?
