(I will not take any days off again...) please Do not reply to this email. I
mean no disrespect; when you respond to an email sent to the list the response
goes back to the whole list - that's default and I'm working on changing that
if I can. There is no need for everyone to see messages like "ok Meghan, I got
it." and am trying to manage the volume so that this list isn't marked as spam
and therefore become a useless tool.
* I will be manually sending this email weekly for a while as the list
PLEASE please please hear me when I say you do NOT need to send out 1) test
emails, or 2) "hi" messages OR 3) REPLY to test emails. Operate from now on
that any response you send goes to the list. If you have subscribed and
therefore are receiving this consider this your confirmation that you have
joined the list.
I could use your help:
* Should anyone new to the list in the future request a test email and
you do not see me respond within 24 hours, one person can respond. Once
everyone else sees that, there is no need to send any other response to that
email. This means you'll need to wait an hour or 3 to see if someone else
responds before responding yourself.
This list should not be busy or sending emails until shows start up again. The
purpose of the list is to assist you in finding subs and in finding rides as
needed. No other announcements, no "hi this is a cute video" type of emails.
In the meantime, and as this transition also happened when we started the
yahoogroup years ago, I know we'll all need to have patience with and show
kindness to each other. Assume best intentions rather than assign blame.
Delete what isn't relevant to you and please do not mark things as spam.
Already we have quite a lot of spam messages from Cincinnati Bell, so those
using that provider may not receive emails.
Yay change! Thank you for your patience and for working with us as we
transition to something new. We will continue to experience bumps and I
appreciate your patience as we move forward. I hope your week last week
included much love and much food.
