I'm finally getting back into using IYP after a very long time!
I have FSX Steam edition up and running with IYP.
My system is a fairly recent Dell XPS 13 laptop with an I5 processor.
I'm finding the speech recognition seems a bit sluggish. When I give
IYP a command, it takes around 2 or 3 seconds to hear the command
confirmation click and then another couple seconds to hear the speech
response. Does anyone have any ideas to speed this up?
My system has 8gb of ram and i use NVDA, which is much easier on RAM than JAWS.
I have my graphics settings in fsx set to minimal.
Also, is it absolutely necessary to go through all the checklists in
IYP? Especially if I remember what the items are?
