Every time I've tried to work with MCE, it was like don't call us we'll call
you.
So, don't hold your breath to wait for them to get back to you.
Sorry, I can't be much more help.
Ron who's been flying his private GA DF7X to keep himself in the air.
But I do have to agree that it isn't like when we were flying for our
virtual careers.

plane not working
I emailed Robert to let him know and to ask what was up regarding IYP’s
status, but I’m not holding my breath for a response. I’m taking a brake
from flying for now, mainly because I can’t get through the MCE developer’s
heads that we need some kind of landing assists. I’m beginning to see the
challenge for them. When you set up IYP, you were required to create a
runways database specifically for IYP with makerways. I wonder if this data
in the database is what data IYP used to make landings.
A large portion of MCE’s users, and by a large portion, I mean pretty much
every one of them, uses the advanced aircraft that has FMCs. When you
program those, it manages everything that IYP did, such as maintaining
optimized airspeed, etc. Ben suggested that we can land manually by turning
off vertical speed hold and using rate of descent command, however the issue
with this is that with an ILS landing, you aren’t actually following the
glideslope, even if ATC vectors you correctly.
MCE devs have been pretty much receptive and implemented a lot of things for
us in the time I’ve been using it—I actually enjoy using PF3 with MCE now,
it feels almost like IYP when I say Request IFR clearance, request taxi,
etc. And the latest thing to be implemented is that it uses the file to get
PF3 frequency data.
I’ll have to do a video showing the devs how using the ROD command… we can
land, but it sure isn’t a smooth landing. As you approach the ground, you
have to pull up a bit to decrease your climb rate, and that’s where using
the keyboard would come in handy. Just can’t do it quickly with voice. Also,
without a runway database for it, it doesn’t know airport elevation, and
this is critical. I’m sure the MCE devs wonder where I went, I’ll have to
check in I guess, especially with the fate of IYP being unknown.

I really hope so, but I think as he said he’s not working on it any more and the webpage also stated about his health its possible Iyp is finished. Even if you already had it installed it doesn’t work. Again I really hope that is not the case
