I keep meaning to join those flights on Saturdays, but just been too busy. It's been a long time! How about the accu-sim add-on for the b17? Does this impact IYP support?

Hello Jason,

Many IYPers fly the A2A Simulations B17, and yes it is fully supported... meaning a BVI pilot can fly it. There are however, many checklist items that you'll simply be saying, "Confirmed", or "Affirmative" that have to do with the certain items in the cockpit, that IYP cannot control via FSUIPC. For example...

Disengage the aileron lock knob, then say confirmed

Please look at the checklists here:

I hope this helps.

If you want to talk to the IYP GURU on this aircraft, then come fly with us on any Saturday and speak with Clive.

    Hi,
I was just reading the description of the accu-sim b17 as linked
to from the supported aircraft page. Oh my god, I want one!
Before I spend almost $60 on this thing, can someone tell me
that it works with IYP? It sounds like there is a lot of extra
stuff on this aircraft that I'm not used to IYP supporting.
In reading further, it looks like the accu-sim module is separate
from the actual aircraft. Does IYP work with just the aircraft,
or can I use the add-on accu-sim module as well?
    Thanks!
