Let me emphasize that I haven't played with this in a few years. It
might be entirely broken!
One thing I've been thinking about is writing an interface that allows
you to hear various fs values by using hotkeys.
With this implimentation, the display runs in a seperate window.
You might look at the FSText program that I think comes with either
WideFS or fSUIPC. That is what I used to use to get data from Radar
Contact.
It may work for pf3 as well.
I'll look at it when time permits.

THis is precisely the kind of thing I was hoping to find. I was thinking I’d
rather have speech than Braille, but the principle seems to be the same. I
know FSUIPC does display messages for some add-ons, which we couldn’t access

to build a display of various values in FSX. Using this code, I was
able to build a WideFS plugin that would update data on a braille
display in real time.

in real time. The info you can get at is only limited by the available
data from FSUIPC, which is a lot!
I haven't touched this in a few years, but might dive back into this
to see what I can make it do.
PF3 does send some info out via FSUIPC. So, I think I can modify this
code to get at that info.
This would allow you to get at the info it is sending out via the
kneeboard for example.
