Robert,
I'd be able to help out if you need, just let us know. Think you've got
several people on this list who'd be able to help out. So far, from all
that we've seen on youtube, and with our own testing, pf3 seems to be
the best. Voxatc's atc's messages are all done by sapi voices which
sound...not so great, pro atcx has some nice voice clips, but has not so
hot of a great reputation in the sighted community, at least on avsim
and reddit, and I believe that's all that I've seen for atc programs.
If their are others, let me know, and I'd be happy to look at them, as
this is something that I find fun actually, testing out different
programs to see which ones work the best.
Mike.

Hi,
I am willing to take a shot at designing an IYP interface for PF3 if that would be helpful for BVI pilots.
However, due to the limited amount of time I currently have to spend in the lab, I would need to have a designated LEAD BETA TESTER who I can discuss and coordinate the development with, who would have the time and interest to coordinate with other BVI pilots.
Back to you all.

I look in D:\steam\steamapps\common\FSX\PF3_display/pf3 freqs.dat
in notepad. That shows the frequencies that pf3 will use.

Can you go to the airport data area on the IYP site:

enter the ICAO code and retrieve the radio frequencies data?

I didn't. I will, however my main concern is trying to
remember two
frequencies. In the MSATC mode, I say Get ATIS and IYP will
tune the
radio correctly. With LiveATC, I have to say going to X, get the
weather, tune back to a random frequency, and then finally
tune to
clearance. Just makes life harder.
Thanks for the suggestion, though.
