Thank you for telling me about that Zack. I will have to get that installed
tomorrow and to heck with Jaws getting reinstalled I think. NVDA does a better
job in most cases where I need something more powerful than System Access.

NVDA works well with Steam, as long as you use the OCR add-on and launch the
app with the -no-dwrite switch. If you add that to the Steam desktop
shortcut it should be good. The OCR add-on is downloadable from various
places, though I honestly just Googled for it.
