Here is a hint. Don't install them that way. I have installed every sound
directly to a sound folder with the aircraft's named sound folder and then I
copy and paste into the sound folder of the aircraft. For example. The Falcon
7x sounds were installed into the Falcon 7x sounds folder inside the Sounds
foler, which is inside the flight sim folder I have on my external. Now
anytime I need those sounds, all I have to do is select all and then copy and
paste directly into the Dassault Falcon 7x folder in FSX.
Hope this helps.
PS Let it overwrite anything it needs to.

So, I told the DF7X installer to install the sounds to this location:
C:\Program Files
(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\fal7tlyx\sound
If this is the correct location, why are the default DF7X sounds still being
used? The sound.cfg file is also there, and the filenames are correct and
accounted for in the folder.
I'd appreciate any help on this.
