But if you're running the latest version of windows which is win 10
anniversary, our old box version when we go to attempt to install it will
give us error messages left and right.
We're hoping a smart person would be able to help us to continue to be able
to fly.

Steam isn't all that friendly, but it is possible to make it wirk.

maybe he can help us out or maybe the taildrager also could help us out
as

When I went to install FSX I had the UAC turned off Defender will not
allow
you to set up a exception until the program is installed.
Also, when I tapped my applications key the adminstrator option was not
availible in the list of options.
I had install and run and Install Microsoft flight sim disk 1.
Neither of the two opions would work.
So that is my sad news.
