What are you using for your hot keys as in like starting and stopping the 
recording?  I am clearly having a conflict somewhere in FSX because Control F9 
and Control F10 do not even work in OBS Studio when I am in FSX.

I use Open Broadcaster Software Classic.

I also couple that with restream.io so I can live stream flights, and 
other games,  to Youtube, Twitch, and beam.pro and soon, apparently 
Facebook Live.
