Radar contact is a very good software; But honestly, I mostly flied
online using either vatsim or ivao (mostly vatsim) and enjoied online
ATC, real people talking to you.
For the parts where there were no online A T C coverage, I'd switch to
microsoft's default ATC.
There were always awesome guys and also guys that were super annoyed
with my demands, But I always was very nice to them and didn't bother
them if they were very busy and such.
I'd private message them and ask them to handle me once they're all free
and the airport is all clear for slewing into the runway. as for
landing, as soon as I contacted them If they told me to do an arrival
procedure, I would told them that I would need radar vectors for
landing. If they refused for whatever reason, I'd tell them why. and
again if they didn't like it, I'd turn VATSIM off, and continue flight
with microsoft ATC.

Two add ons that I use are AccuFeel and Sim Physics. The one caution with the
latter is that having IYP apply the brakes once landed will cause the plane to
skid right off the runway. You would need to learn how to apply the brakes
manually.

Well, I hope that I don’t get error messages once I get this registered. :)
I think I’ll be doing some add-on searching over the next while. If I find
anything which works well, I’ll be sure to pass it along, ATC or not.
Best,
Zack.

I used Radar Contact but had to request a refund for it and no longer use it
because it would throw up some errors at airports I fly in and out of
regularly. No clue why I was getting error messages even though it was setup
correctly. I don't think there are any other ATC programs that will work with
IYP as far as I am aware.
