I use my flight control system all the time with IYP running, and I have not
seen any problems.  The only thing that I have to remember is to move the
throttle up and down on the X52 flight controller when I load a propeller plane
since the throttle on the plane will be in full until I move it when I have the
joystick plugged in.  The majority of add-ons I use are aircraft.  Some are
better than others, but what I would suggest is to decide what aircraft you
want to fly, and get all the add-ons you want to use installed before
installing IYP.  This way, IYP can get working with all your aircraft without
having to constantly switch to the Online Mode everytime you add a new
aircraft.  The list below are all the add-ons I use that are not aircraft.

High quality sounds for aircraft from Skysong Soundworks

AccuFeel 2.0 Changes some of the flight dynamics etc.

BatX Allows you to control how long the battery of the aircraft will last.  FSX
has the batteries dying on the aircraft much too quickly.

Sim Physics X  Adds more realistic physics to your aircraft.  Do not use IYP’s
Apply Landing Brake feature with this or you will find yourself skidding off
the runways.  Use the period key or the button you have setup on your controller

FSrealWX Lite.  I use a little older version that is freeware but still works
great and I can send you a copy if you want it.

I can give you a list of the aircraft I fly most often if you would like.
Unfortunately, the Missions are not usable with IYP.  Hope this is a help, and
let me know if you need anything further.  Also, the Paid version of FSUIPC
seems to be a better bet for things to work correctly than the non paid version.

Hi all,

i am new here. I discovered IYP and it amazed me that the flight simulator X
can be used by us blind people. I am very new to this kind of games, so I have
a few newby questions, since I am considering buying the flight sim yet.

1.       Can addons from the community be used by us with IYP as well? I saw on
the internet that there is additional content, fighting missions and such.

2.       Regarding missions, are they playable as well? I know that the flight
sim comes with some missions and additional ones can be downloaded, like the
military ones above but other types as well as other planes.

3.       Can the planes be flyed manualy as well, so that IYP only helps you
with spoken and sound feedback or such? Or can we partly control the plane, so
that we haven’t to do anything with speech input and can use the keyboard or
joystick ourselves?

4.       Can we switch the views in the sim too? That’s interesting because the
soundscapes change with it as well.
